Job Description

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a multinational services business, they operate across a global scale and are recognised as true industry leaders. They operate across disciplines of manufacturing, logistics, consultancy and technology.They work with global prestigious brands and customers and have experienced considerable growth over the last two years due to investment and acquisitions. As such they are keen to appoint an experienced Data Protection Officer paying a salary range of £40,000to £50,000 with a homebased / Hybrid Model.As an experienced Data Protection Officer, you will provide support to all groups clients and suppliers with regards to the processing of personal data - in addition to incidents and responses.Data Protection Officer - Duties

  • Develop materials to meet data protection/GDPR compliance
  • Training and awareness for customers and clients on data protection
  • Support the Group DPO to monitor compliance
  • Development/Maintain data protection policies, procedures and processes
  • Carryout data protection compliance audits
  • Monitor compliance with EU GDPR
  • Provide support and advice on queries concerning incidents to Group DPO and CISO
  • Support/Create DPAs and DSAs
  • Provide data protection questionnaires for supplier onboarding
Data Protection Officer - Experience
  • Experience of working with DPAs, governments and industry bodies
  • Manage data incidents and breaches
  • Knowledge of GDPR and principles
  • Controllers and data processors
  • Issue and review of DPAs and Information Security assessments
  • DPIAs and identifying risks arising from processes
  • Create/Review data flows and how they fit into the DPIA process
  • Understand key IT security controls
  • Compliance audit experience
