Job Description

Data Integrator DeveloperHybrid WorkingUp to £65k On behalf of our market-leading client based in Bury, we are recruiting for a Data Integrator Developer. As Data Integrator Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of the data analytics pipeline, from exploration of the data, modelling of data intoanalytical products and building the pipelines and ELT/ETL mappings that underpin our clientsdata platform.The Data Integrator Developer will be responsible for:

  • Support the Central Data function by managing and developing initiatives to improve and build upon the existing data analytics platform
  • Work with analysts, data engineers, business stakeholders and leadership to identify analytical needs and requirements
  • Creating and maintaining data pipelines and the data environments
  • Re-engineering existing data products and migrating to the new data platform.
  • Champion data quality, data security and accuracy
  • Support the exploration of data conflicts between core systems and the data analytics platform with support from the wider Central data team
The Data Integrator Developer will have the following:
  • Experience in working within a data analytics team
  • Strong experience with one or more ELT/ETL tools (Matillion, Talend, .dbt, Glue)
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL and experience with multiple databases
  • Familiarity with event streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka, Pub/Sub)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of version control (preferably Git and SVN)
  • Background in working with large and complex datasets
  • Experience with data modelling principles and awareness of cloud data warehouses
