Data Engineer - ManchesterA growing business based in Manchester City Centre are currently looking for a Data Engineer to help shape their newly formed Data Engineering team and build scalable, reliable and secure cloud datawarehouse solutions and data integration / processing pipelines. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide range of data sources using a range of technologies (SQL, ETL Tools, Kafka, Scala, AWS etc), whilst also preparing the data for prescriptive and predictive modelling. You will explore ways to enhance data quality / reliability, identify, design and implement internal process improvements whilst also working with internal stakeholders to assist in data-related issues.The successful Data Engineer will have the following experience:
