Job Description

Data and Visualisation Analyst - Manchester - £42,000 - AgencyMy client are committed to helping organisations, society and each other change for the better. After not just surviving the pandemic, but actuallythriving in it, they have been able to bring on 44 new members of staff in last 12 months alone, with their growth showing no signs of stopping.They are now looking to hire a Data and Visualisation Analyst to work with client leads to improve and advance both internally and externally how data is used by developing and enhancing processes, capabilities, outputs and products/services. Your focuswill be on the design, build and management of data visualisation solutions (focused on Tableau).What youre responsible for:

  • Leading on the design, build, advancement and management of our analytics and visualisation products and services, internally and externally
  • Proactively consulting with clients to understand their needs and designing impactful data flows, architecture and solutions (visualisations and reports) to maximise impact and value extraction
  • Overseeing and working on the ongoing and retained management of our data updates, integrations and contracts
  • Supporting data and visualisation efficiency across our expert groups
  • Working across broad ranges of data to identify patterns and trends
  • Auditing client and market data usage, recommending appropriate enhancements
  • Mastering our proprietary data solutions (such as YWare)
  • Ensuring we are making the most of technology and tools within your area of expertise, striving to advance our solutions, products and services, and bringing innovation to the agency
  • Showing commercial acumen by highlighting commercial opportunities to help increase profitability across the agency
  • Helping to prepare new business proposals, presenting at new business pitches and onboarding new clients
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to the wider client team to help develop skillsets
  • Working with colleagues and clients to ensure all data projects are compliant
About you:
  • Tableau, Prep and Alteryx are a must
  • Desirable experience of R/Python and SQL
  • Data preparation, exploration, cleansing
  • Auditing, designing and developing visualisation solutions
  • Confident and engaging communication skills across all communication channels.
  • Managing complex, multiple stakeholder data projects
  • Hands-on database management and analysis
  • Experience in product development and advancement
  • Experience in people data and analytics
  • Consultative project scoping and delivery
  • A methodical and logical problem solver, unphased by complex challenges
