Our clients commitment and investment to support business growth continues and we have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Intelligence department as a Data & Reporting manager, supporting an ambitious data strategy, bringing in a step changein data capabilities as a key enabler for a large business wide transformation programme.As a Data & Reporting Manager youll lead a multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for overseeing the transition from tactical data practices onto a strategic cloud-based data platform (Azure data lake). This will include embedding a data management lifecycleand managing the pipeline of change.You will be involved in the full lifecycle; building and maintaining strong relationships across the business, qualifying business needs through MI, reporting, automation and future Data Science use cases.Role profileThe successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Business Intelligence and Reporting to design and implement the BI strategy including the management of the data lake and warehouse, running a range of MI/BI and reporting initiatives, running theBAU function, driving change through development of new reporting solutions, and answering all ad-hoc requests, as well as;Manage and develop ETL processes from various disparate data sourcesGuide decisions with multiple stakeholders alongside a BA to generate clear specificationsLead a multi-disciplinary data team of 3+ (including Data Engineers, Reporting Analysts & Data Scientists)Oversee the transition from tactical on-premise data practices to strategic use of cloud hosted data lakeInfuse data culture in the organisation (data events, data communication, data training)Ability to story tell and enthuse audiences on becoming a data first organisationResponsible for validation of outputsSkills & ExperienceWere looking for someone with experience and a keen understanding of the importance of data, who is tenacious and able to drive a vision with the ability to lead and develop a team data professionals. The skills and experience we are looking for:A team-player, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, high performance environment with a track record of delivering to tight deadlinesProvide highly-effective subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders, translating complex data findings into easily consumable stories that drive action.Having worked in Data and Analytics and Dashboard Reporting and have experience managing a Data and Analytics/Reporting team.Previous experience of Team Management including daily workflow and people management including management of leave, appraisal, mentoring etc.Technically an expert in Tableau/Power BI and SQL.Previous exposure to technical dimensions (Azure Cloud, Datalake and data modelling concepts).An understanding of the private healthcare sector would be desirableWhat They OfferWhen you join us, youll find an open and supportive environment, where everyone is empowered to grow.
