Job Description

Data AnalystUKROEd currently has an exciting opportunity for a permanent Data Analyst to work within our Data Security & Information Management Team on a permanent basis.UKROEd is the wholly-owned trading subsidiary of the Road Safety Trust, a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Since its creation in April 2014, the Trust has established itself as the leading independent funding body for road safety research and practical interventions in Great Britain.Purpose of the RoleUKROEd manages and administers the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) on behalf of the police service in the UK. The company functions as a legal body with responsibility to collect and distribute police cost recovery, as well as funding the necessary activities of the NDORS scheme.The scheme provides:

  • course design, review and development;
  • research and evaluation;
  • instructor, trainer, monitor and assessor training;
  • trainer and provider licence, issue and compliance, as well as assessment and personal development advice and guidance focused on quality and consistency;
  • data security with administration of the attendance process;
  • policy, procedure, guidance and general advice to promote consistency in the provision of scheme courses;
  • user and internal stakeholder liaison and guidance focused on quality.
  • The Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying the most appropriate data, sources of data, and metrics, to reveal trends and insight in key performance indicators, in support of strategic and operational business decision-making and continual process improvement.The Data Analyst will lead on the day-to-day transaction service management tasks for the DORS+ system and the online Managed Learning Environment, which support the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme. The two systems are referred to as the "DORS+ Service". We are ideally looking for a competent professional who has experience of data analysis to inform strategic and operational business decision-making.The successful candidate will have the ability to support across all areas of the organisation and to work collaboratively, both internally and externally across our stakeholder landscape. They will also have proven customer service experience, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.We are offering a competitive benefits package and you would be joining a supportive team, with excellent training and professional development opportunities.The post is a full-time permanent role, based on a 37.5 hour working week (Mon-Fri) with some flexibility on time allocation.
