Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support one of the leading Housing organisations in Greater Manchester. This is an agile working role working 37 hours per week, on a temporary 3 months basis initially that could eitherextend or become a permanent opportunity. Offering a competitive hourly rate between £15 - £20 per hour dependant on experience. To work as a business partner with Directors and Business Managers providing support, advice and assistance in a range of activities designed to improve services and outcomes for customers and provide the necessary performance information, research,analyses and benchmark information for decision-making and regulations purposes.What will you be doing as a Data Analyst

  • Attendance at meetings outside normal office hours to suit the business operation
  • To interpret business requirements and translating them into technical enhancements for their systems
  • Providing support for incidents and requests related to core business systems, as well as demonstrate an "As-Is" subject matter expertise in core systems functionality and use this to identify and bridge gaps in "To-Be" modelling activity are vital functionsof this role
  • Liaising with managers to understand operational demands and ensure that these are met by system capabilities
  • Identifying and addressing any technical and system inefficiencies and inform the ISMS improvement process
  • Assisting in the transformation project.
  • Migration from old stack to new stack
  • Working with a range of in-house systems such as Aareon/Civica including system migrations and integrations using MS dynamics, CRM, asset management software repairs software, contractor/mobile working software (i.e. 1st touch)
  • Keeping up to date and researching legislative and procedural developments relating to ALMO governance, performance monitoring/management, new initiatives and good practice and related areas, including co-ordinating responses to consultations, evaluatingthe potential impact on the company, and providing appropriate advice
  • Undertake data-driven research to identify inefficiencies and waste, before working with key stakeholders to drive them through to improvement
  • Compiling data and providing regular statistical returns, analysis and benchmarking reports using the organisations ICT systems, including writing scheduling and administering SSRS reports for the organisation
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
  • If you have exposure or awareness of key issues affecting Housing and the Government Agenda for Housing. You may have experience in working within the NHS or another Public Sector organisation.
  • If you are experienced in producing performance related reports, building data sets, working with, and meeting regulation requirements. Experienced in SQL and SSRS.
  • You will possess researching ability and able to present your findings using a range of formats
  • Experience in appraising multiple problems, developing solutions by thinking creatively and innovatively and evaluating the consequence for the business
  • Track record of working effectively as part of a team
  • Able to meet targets and demonstrate project management skills
  • Able to produce and manipulate data, produce reports, letters, spreadsheets, database presentations and publications
  • Expert level in Excel, desirable Power BI or tableaux
  • Able to work proactively challenge performance related issues in a constructive manner, focusing on improvement
