Job Description

D365FO Systems Accountant/Finance Consultant - 6 Months + Extensions - £500p/d - Outside IR35 - RemoteI am currently partnered with HUGE company who are at the early stages of a migration from Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to D365 for Finance.The requirement exists because the client are in need of a Finance Consultant to act as the SME for the D365 Finance work-stream and act as the main source of knowledge for the business leads.Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Research, understand & consult on financial processes that will be required to support the implementation of D365.
  • Document & refine As is & To be processes
  • Ensure that the design phase accommodates all of the financial process recorded in the discovery phase and is implemented/replaced in the new financial system which is intended to be D365 F&O
  • Work in collaboration with an implementation partner to ensure that all To Be processes have been configured in D365 in readiness for Process testing and UAT
  • Work in collaboration with the QA team to support and address issues that arise from testing
Key Skills Required:
  • Accountancy Background
  • Experienced in capability, configuration, process flows & Functionality of D365FO
  • Awareness of third party integrations that support D365, particularly: Bank Reconciliation, Purchase Orders, Expenses & Asset Register & Labelling.
  • Well versed with Financial modules: AP, AR,GL, Purchase Ledger, R2R, O2C etc.
  • Data structure & uploading capability within D365FO.
