Job Description

Cyber Security Consultant IT/OTOur client is a provider of cutting edge cyber support & solutions to clients across the UK. They currently havea vacancy for aforward thinking individualwith cyber experience within incident response, architecture review and designs, cyber risk assessments and mitigations recommendations.The role will focus across the IT/OT environments to provide expertise to their current and future clients. You will join their existing & expanding team in the UK at this time of growth within this sector.Responsibilities

  • Understanding and experience of IT/OT assessments highlighting areas of concern and ability to provide risk mitigations and recommendations to clients.
  • Understanding of how to protect Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Information Technology systems.
  • Understanding of how key OT systems function and how best to apply security practices to protect those systems.
  • Understanding of IT/OT design considerations
  • Knowledge of IT and OT security best practices which can be applied in red team exercises across the Critical National Infrastructure spectrum.
  • Understanding of protocols common within IT/OT environments.
  • Understanding on how to:prepare, review, and assess IT and OT environments and apply best practice, policies, and standards using ISA/IEC 62443 NIST 800- 53 etc.
  • Understanding of threat hunting strategies for IT/OT environments and ability to apply those practices across multiple environments.
  • Understanding of cyber threat intelligence.
  • Experience of working within a Critical National Infrastructure environment.
    • EssentialMust be eligible for UK Security ClearanceWillingness to travel/work away as requiredDesirableChartered EngineerSANS training and qualification for IT/OT for example:SANS ICS 410 ICS/SCADA Security Essentials or otherMCSA/MCSECCSP - Certified Cloud Security ProfessionalCCNA - Network/Security CertificationSSCP - Systems Security Certified PractitionerCISSP - Certified Information Systems Security ProfessionalPlease email your CV to apply for this position
