Cyber Security Advisory LeadCyber Security, Ransomware, Crown Jewels, Penetration Testing, SIEM, WAF, PAM, InfoSec, Threat, Vulnerabilities, CyberContract Duration: 3 Monthsinitially, highly likely to extend£650 - £750 per day - Inside IR35RemoteOur FTSE100 client is looking to expand their Cyber Response team and in doing so 3 Cyber Security roles have become available. The roles sit within a rapidly growing cyber security team providing advisory support across clients vast network. We are lookingfor 3 Advisory Leads with the focus for each as follows: Advisory Lead(Crown Jewels) for critical Information Technology (IT) Asset identification Advisory Lead(Ransomware) Software identification remediation activities Advisory Lead(Cyber) overall Cyber improvement activities (incl. Password complexity, website unblocking processes etc.)Key AccountabilitiesAll 3 Advisory Lead roles will be hands-on, to take forward various activities which straddle project delivery and BAU risk reduction actions. Ensuring that each team in Cyber is prioritising crown jewels and RMG is covering all their controls on them e.g., making sure feeds are coming into the SIEM, patching, vuln scanning, Asset list (in service mgmt.), silent log sources, behind WAF, behind DDOSprotections etc. Ensuring each Crown Jewel System has an up-to-date HLD (High Level Design) showing data flows and security devices Identify, test and highlight vulnerabilities (Pen testing) Ransomware project status has them prioritized PAM access reviews are prioritized Ensure team members highlight issues being fixed issues with Crown Jewel systems, Where small actions; initiate tickets and drive them Where a medium/big action make sure there is an IT or Service Delivery owner and track it, where a more appropriate make sure the relevant Cyber Workstream owns it Have a central oversight sheet of Crown Jewel and controls status showing where there are controls, where there are gaps.Required Skills and Competencies Expert knowledge of Cybersecurity management and practices. Crown Jewel asset identification experiences Responsible for 3rd party management overlap e.g. Ensuring sure 3rd parties are taking action Management experience in being able to drive forward actions and being able to hold others accountable for actions assigned on behalf of the Lead Technical expertise in assessing controls across multiple technologies, technical interdependencies and data flows. Identifying individual vulnerabilities and assessing them in multiple contexts (e.g., data, system, business unit, group) is crucial in engagingstakeholders and driving the Group cyber security advisory agenda. Previous team leadership experience in providing mentorship to more junior members alongside performance management and assignment allocation Strong influencing and stakeholder management at senior levels Consultative approach in driving Cyber activities forwardIn first instance please submit your CV.
