This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growth industry deriving from the new Brexit rules around Customs and Tariffs, working as part of a team to ensure that Customs brokerage and declarants are fully compliant at all times. You will review all the necessary documents provided in relation to the required clearance to ensure customers clearances are compliant in accordance with customers and company regulations. You will have really strong attention to detail as these documents have to be correct in accordance with custom rules. Your communication skills will also be strong as you will be dealing with customers efficiently and succinctly. All of the documents are completed via bespoke software and so again your computer skills need to be strong and thorough.Full training will be given as these are essentially newly created roles and so provided you can demonstrate attention to detail, numerical ability and exceptional customer service skills the company can work with you to give you the knowledge you need. It would be useful if you come from a relatable background to include Airports, Import & Export, Customs & Excise, Warehouse, Logistics and Freight – all of these would be relevant and would help you succeed. The shift pattern is Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm or 9am – 5.30pm. There will also be some Saturdays and Sundays from 6am – 1pm but you will only work these on a rota basis. These roles are to start as soon as possible so give us a call on and ask for Debbie Daly, Jon Davies or Kristine Bokane Da-Silva or apply on-line and we will be in touch.
