Job Description

Customer Service Administrator (Account Manager) - South ManchesterYou will be working for a global business who are world leader in their field, manufacturing small components operating a 24/7 state-of-the-art facility (call JMT to discuss in more detail).This role is to be responsible for the administration and management of Customer orders. The role will ensure that orders are placed correctly, and by liaising with the planning department and end of line (EOL) dispatch functions ensure customer requirementsare manufactured and delivered on time. This role is predominantly an account management position, where liaison with group customers is key. Customers must be updated regularly on the progress of all orders and the successful candidate must ensure that orderplacement / invoicing of deliveries is performed accurately and timely. Also to be key representative for importing and exporting from the site.Role Description

  • Responsibility of customer account management covering all administration functions.
  • Placing of customer orders.
  • Ensuring that customer orders have been received onto the system..
  • Resolution of customer queries.
  • Pro-active communication of order confirmations and overdue deliveries to customers on a regular basis. Monitor stock with no demand report and ages stock to offer customers.
  • Close liaison with the Planning department and demand planner to establish the best delivery dates for each customer.
  • Responsible for price accuracy and ensuring price records are kept up to date for each customer in line with pricing policy
  • Processing of invoices and despatch delivery paperwork.
  • Running and monitoring exception reports for the non-delivery of due orders and reporting accordingly.
  • Support team members and colleagues to maintain excellent standards of service across the business to ensure Company targets are met.
  • Work Effectively within the Supply Chain team to assist continuous improved solutions.
