Job Description

Summer 2020 has seen unprecedented demand for not only this year but next year.The RoleOur aim is simple: to delight our owners and guests. The Customer Retention team plays an important part in reaching this goal, by using campaign delivery tools to execute and evaluate marketing campaigns. You’ll hold responsibility for creating and delivering successful multi-channel marketing activity, with the overall objective of increasing customer engagement and supporting the delivery of our customer retention targets. We’re not just looking for a "doer" but a proactive thinker, who can learn from past results and continually evolve our campaigns to improve on results.

  • You’ll use campaign delivery software to create, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns
  • o Use insights from past campaigns to identify the most responsive audienceo Deliver personalised content relevant to your audience in order to optimise campaign performanceo Launch experiments and A/B tests to drive recommendationsWhat you’ll be doing

  • You’ll extract key findings through post campaign analysis, which will influence future campaign activity, whilst sharing performance insights with the wider team
  • You’ll build appropriate customer contact plans for specific customer segments in the database
  • o Plan and develop appropriate frequency and relevant communicationso Test and evaluate alternative channels to expand reach and performanceo Test and evaluate the impact of incentives to reactivate key segments of the databaseo Provide insight on performance and optimise based on results
  • Be accountable for the performance of emails sent against pre-agreed commercial targets
  • Produce regular reports on performance
  • Support the team and wider business with ad-hoc requests
  • Maintain the integrity of data held within the CRM platform
  • o Continuous validation of data extractedo Identification of any inaccuracieso Progress any inaccuracies through the appropriate channels in order to resolveKey skills we need:We’re a team full of energy and with a passion for what we do, so it’s key that you’re enthusiastic, driven and keen to be part of a team. What else do you need in order to succeed in this role- You’ll need previous experience with analytical tools/campaign management tools and ESPs- We’re looking for someone with familiarity with email channel performance metrics (open rate, CTR etc)- You’ll be competent in the use of MS Access/Excel- You’re passionate about travel and, in particular, UK holidays- Ideally, you’ll have had some experience of working within leisure/travelEqually as important as all the technical "stuff", we’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, irrespective of their seniority. We don’t believe in standing still (we work in travel, after all), but instead think that everyone should be learning, all the time.
