Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, one of the top 50 largest Law firms in the UK, who are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.JOB DETAILS* PAY RATE: £25,000 - £30,000 Per Annum* WORK TYPE: Permanent * WORK PATTERN: Full Time* LOCATION: Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge or NorwichJOB SUMMARYThis essential position, which reports to the firms collections manager, supports the main business goal of being a leader in customer experience while fostering profitable growth.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include: * To maximise the amount of cash collected each month, gain a thorough understanding of our cash collecting policies, procedures, and systems.* To contribute to the efficient administration of the companys working capital with a focus on debt reduction, develop a grasp of the business of the company and the issue of the cash cycle.* Create long-lasting connections with our customers through routine phone and email communication in order to promote early payment, enable quick resolution of inquiries, and support repeat orders.* Work toward monthly cash goals, maintain your own ledger, and take responsibility for answering questions.* When necessary, communicate with attorneys about past-due bills, take the agreed-upon actions, and make sure that proper records of those actions and the responses obtained are kept up to date.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:* 2 years or more of expertise in credit control, ideally in a professional services firm* High degree of computer and numerical literacy, as well as strong administrative abilities.* The capacity to influence others and establish trusting connections with important stakeholders.Please be advised that only candidates that have the specific skills and experiences required for this role will be shortlisted and submitted to our client for review.HOW TO APPLYHit the APPLY button or contact Shane Cousins at Tempting Recruitment NOW.
