Job Description

Credit Controller/ Remote Position/ B2B/ Monthly Bonus/ January StartI am looking for a proactive and experienced Credit Controller to support a successful yet continually growing business. You will be responsible for overseeing a large ledger to ensure all outstanding amounts are monitored and kept to a minimum through proactiveCredit Control processes.In addition to a basic salary my client can offer an attractive and achievable monthly bonus structure. Although a remote position, you will be virtually supported by a friendly and inclusive team.

  • Achieving monthly individual and team cash collection targets via actively chasing customers via telephone and email
  • Achieving Debtor Day Target by proactively reducing overdue debt.
  • Participating in weekly Meetings with Stakeholders concerning ledgers
  • Monitoring and updating Credit Insurance Levels
  • Sending 7-day reminder letters and processing legal action and collate relevant documentation as required
  • Processing online Credit Card payments.
  • Performing multiple daily bank Reconciliations
  • Posting of payments onto customer accounts
  • Responsible for opening new customer accounts, performing credit checks and setting credit limits.
  • Monitoring and authorising the removal of STOP status on customer accounts
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record and maintain accurate chase history on customers accounts
  • Issue statements and copy invoices as requested
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a B2B Credit Control position (ideally working on large ledgers)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • A motivated and target driven approach to chasing outstanding balances
  • Strong computerized systems skills (Sage 200 skills are highly advantageous)
  • Knowledge of contracts and retentions
  • Construction sector experience is highly advantageous although not essential.
  • The ability to motivate yourself independently in a remote working position
  • Occasional travel (once per quarter to site may be required on occasion)
