Due to expansion, we are looking for multiple ambitious and intelligent individuals to join their growing credit control team. The company is looking to triple theirturnover to £350 million by 2025 and is investing heavily into their staff and benefits package later this year.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation who is committed to their staff. As you become established within the role, there is opportunity to progress your career further, with the option to develop into a managerial position, orgain study support.A highly competitive starting salary is on offer for this position, combined with an attractive bonus scheme.What does the role involveYou will be supporting the Credit Manager and wider credit control team to coordinate the debts of existing creditors and manage new requests for credit. This involves the management of circa 500 Key Accounts, offering a fast-paced role with a focus on exceptionaldelivery and job satisfaction.Responsibilities Include:

  • Undertake effective debt collection and obtain earliest settlement to improve cash flow
  • Account reconciliations
  • Deal with customer enquiries and manage credit notes
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Ensure company targets are met
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
  • Monitor credit alerts
  • Sending statements and copying invoices
  • Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts
  • Other ad hoc duties
Who would be the right fit
  • Have experience in a similar credit controller position
  • Intermediate Excel abilities (spreadsheets/formulas)
  • Excellent telephone manner and confidence
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Must be dynamic and proactive
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload
  • Excellent ability to use initiative, problem solve and resolve issues
