Credit Controller28kManchester City CentreDCS Recruitment (part of DCS Group) are a leading provider of both temporary & permanent staffing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Control professional to join our finance team on a permanent basis.The role will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for managing the credit control process and leading the Credit Control team on a day-to-day basis. This position will come with a competitive starting salary up to 28k per annum and will bebased at our modern offices in central Manchester.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:* Taking responsibility for the collections process* Proactively investigate and chase debt across a wide-ranging ledger* Proactivity implements cash management strategies to reduce DSO* Reviewing existing systems, suggestions to develop them and implement new processes to improve team efficiency* Support and mentor more junior members of the credit control teamTo succeed in this role, the successful candidate will have:* Strong Credit Control background* Cash management strategy implementation experience desirable* Strong communication, telephone & customer service skills* Excellent attention to detail * Ideally CICM qualified (not essential)This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their finance career.
