They cultivate a community of entrepreneurs who benefit from access to a collaborative co-working and office space, mentoring and an exceptional events programme.About the RoleThe General Manager is the senior point of contact for the community acting and the face o of the business, leading a positive member experience and ensuring there is a solid relationship with the members.What Youll Do

  • Ensure the team is working effectively and in line with the company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a healthy and positive relationship with members
  • Ensure that the building is fully operational and processes are running seamlessly
  • Proactive improvement of the member experience through identifying needs
  • Creating a welcoming and collaborative community environment for all members through events and building relationships
  • Drive growth and promotion of provided service offerings
  • Member management
  • Be the first and last point of contact for your members and hold strong relationships
  • Conducting tours
  • Build community initiatives designed to develop connections between members, including member introductions, events support and communications
  • Solve member-related issues to ensure a cohesive community
  • Consistently look for ways to exceed your members needs
  • Resolve member complaints regarding other members through neutral fact investigation and prepare recommendation for termination of membership when warranted
  • Business development
  • Create and implement strategies for reaching out to local organizations and attending networking events in order to promote the business
  • Create and implement strategies for identifying businesses that could potentially benefit from the company services
  • Build relationships with members to generate business by reducing churn and exploring members business networks for new members
  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and work closely to generate new business opportunities
  • Generate leads and conduct tours to reach sales goals and work towards (or maintain) 100% occupancy
  • Sales
  • Research potential members in order to develop tailored marketing strategies and materials
  • Develop sales pitches that separate the business from competitors
  • Give bespoke tours based on research and knowledge of potential members businesses and needs
  • Train the team to give effective tours and sales pitches
  • Events and Community Management
  • Ensure the Community team (direct reports) are following event policies
  • Work on community initiatives that will develop connections between members, including member introductions and events
  • Drive event revenue through searching for opportunities to host relevant events and hold a full calendar of events
  • Be comfortable and knowledgeable on the business to be able to confidently deliver the welcome speech at events
  • Building Operations and Management
  • Ensure new members are welcomed as per company guidelines and everything is ready ahead of their arrival
  • Oversee building operations and maintenance to ensure highest level of member experience
  • Finance
  • Ensure membership billing is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
  • Ensure we are achieving membership and event revenue targets
  • Ensure budgets are adhered to
  • Team Management
  • Ensure the team are trained to be able to do their role
  • Identify any areas that the team need training and act on this
  • Undertake new starter training
  • Conduct 30/60/90/180 day reviews for new starters
  • Hold 1-2-1s with the team
  • Work with the HR manage to resolve any issues
  • Recruit when necessary
  • Legal
  • Ensure Eagle Labs is working in line with GDPR
  • Marketing
  • Sign off the newsletter and ensure relevant information is included
  • Reporting
  • Ensure all reporting is submitted on time and accurately
  • Who You Are:
  • An extremely social person and a self-starter who can motivate themselves as well as others
  • Have previous experience in a similar role/co-working environment
  • Have account management experience
  • Have sales experience in a similar sector
  • Highly independent and can manage projects for timely delivery
  • Have exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail
  • Have demonstrated professionalism, accountability, self-awareness, and high social intelligence in previous roles
  • Are passionate about entrepreneurship and community building
  • Possess basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Mailchimp
