Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, self-starter to join our high performing team as a Corporate Reporting Manager. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will have an integral role in shaping the Group’s financial and regulatory reporting, processes and policies as a growing and ambitious FTSE 250 business. The successful candidate will be a technically strong, qualified accountant with at least 3 years PQE and currently working at manager level, ideally with group reporting exposure within a plc environment.You will act as a technical partner, supporting the Head of Financial Reporting and working closely with the external reporting team in providing key information across reporting periods, assisting on ad hoc projects and preparing technical papers for key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing our regulatory reporting to the FCA and supporting the Finance Director in the preparation of the Group’s ICAAP. You will also assist in monitoring the reporting requirements for the new prudential regime and impact on the Group. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships at all levels with a proven ability to work credibly at the most senior levels, including Board.This is a great opportunity for someone who is driven, technically strong and embraces challenges and is looking for a fast-paced environment in which to enhance the Group’s financial and regulatory reporting.Qualifications

  • ACCA/ACA qualified (with at least 3 years PQE) working at manager level
  • Experience of consolidations, financial and statutory reporting within a plc environment
  • Previous audit experience essential
  • Experience of Regulatory reporting desirable
  • Experience of writing & presenting papers for senior management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to summarise information effectively
  • Planning, organisation and time management skill with ability to prioritise
  • Flexible and highly motivated
  • Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
  • Excellent working knowledge of IFRS and FRS101
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
