Job: Corporate Document Centre (CDC) Manager - Part TimeSalary: £11,770 - £13,520Working hours: 18 per week over 2.5 daysContract: Permanent Location: Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) Headquarters, 146 Bolton Road, Swinton, M27 8USClosing date is 19/11/2021 *** To make a full application visit our website Greater.Jobs***Your role: -You will manage a Corporate Document Centre (CDC), which is the single point of truth for corporate documents across GMFRS, to ensure the information it contains is easily accessible, accurate, up-to-date, and consistent across the service, ensuring thatduplication of information is reduced or removed.Your role will involve working with document owners to manage the processes and workflows required to create, qualify, approve, publish, review, and revise corporate documents.Corporate documents include but are not limited to - Strategy, Policy, Guidance, Procedures, Service Level Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, externally derived information, Corporate Forms.About you -We need somebody with the skills, vision and drive not just to manage our existing CDC, but to build and develop it, ensuring the system is fit for purpose for the benefit of our emergency response personnel (our front-line firefighting crews), support staffand our wider partners across the GMCA.The role profile details the qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills required, but we want more than that. We want a person with the dedication and enthusiasm to liaise effectively with key stakeholders, to develop the design and function of thesystem, to improve the overall end-user experience.About us -Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) is one of the largest UK Fire and Rescue Services with more than 1,637 personnel and 41 fire stations. GMCA is our parent authority, and we provide the Corporate Document Centre for them as well as GMFRS.If you join us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the accessibility and quality of both operational, and corporate information.
