Brief overviewThis is a genuine opportunity for a savvy Content Manager to join a firm which is steeped in history & prestige, stands head & shoulders above their competition in their field of expertise & is putting a huge amount of investment into driving their marketing effort - online & offline. Without question, this is a key role within their digital domain, and you’ll play a big part in their future plans.The roleIt is a broad & interesting role and a chance to play a pivotal part of this firm’s growth & digital marketing expansion plans. They are moving towards a more digital platform & you will be responsible for the linguistic content of their key brands, working across a range of media and formats. Alongside the creative team, you will interpret briefs, discussing each brands’ core messaging and its relevancy to the intended audience to produce assets that seize attention and develop affinity. You will be making an impact through content and storytelling using well-researched, thought-provoking ideas & plan new blog & editorial based content via WordPress, including both SEO-optimised and engagement-focused content. You will also be responsible for the creation and management of a content calendar supporting new campaigns & identify new features and functionalities for their blogs, to increase engagement and improve conversion rates. You’ll be recommending SEO marketing activities including keyword research, content strategy and link building, working with the wider marketing team to integrate insightful content into all of the other channels, organise case studies, research pieces, interviews and surveys. Youll also dip into research, reporting and analysing the subsequent business impact of content marketing campaigns (Google Analytics, SEO, Excel, SEMrush).What we’re looking forSomeone who will bring passion and drive to really make this role work and can genuinely bring content to life. Youll most likely have around 3 - 4 years under your belt, as well as a solid record of creating content across multiple formats, from video to written to podcasts and everything in between. Youll also be a wizz at researching, with a data and research-led way of thinking and a deep understanding of all the different content distribution channels available. Youll know how each channel can be optimized through content and how best to use these channels to paint a wider picture and tell a story.A genuine passion for SEO and digital marketing and experience of how this can be used to drive measurable business outcomes is vital. You’ll also need proven SEO experience, good HTML knowledge and experience with Google Analytics and other SEO tools. It will be helpful to have a thorough understanding of content, either in Brand or Ecommerce environment as well as strong working knowledge of creating and managing a content creation calendar.What’s on offerA role to make your own, a firm & team that wants it to work as well as place that has a grounded & sincere culture.
