Job Description

Trust In SODA are partnering with a leading healthcare organisation as they look to bolster their UX team with another content designer. Youll be joining their transformation squad, delivering powerful change to the way healthcare is digitalised. Were looking for a Content Designer to create content for all areas of the business. You will participate in Discovery sessions, creative workshops, be part of regular user testing sessions, design critiques and collaborate with the team throughout the design process. Youll need to monitor the progress of briefs, ensuring timely delivery at all stages and communicate the progress to stakeholders and team members. You will be responsible for writing UX copy across responsive web pages and apps and will be able to discuss your writing, research, ideas and thought processes in an open and collaborative format. You will support the team in all aspects of content creation and copywriting including understanding the user, defining the problem, validating through research, ideation and refining of work, prototyping and testing. You will be given a platform to grow as a Content Designer with various opportunities to learn new skills, develop as a creative as well as being presented a clear progression path with various benefits along the way. Whats a typical dayYoull be working on transformational digital healthcare and wellbeing projects, alongside a rapidly growing, passionate and talented multi-disciplinary digital experience design team. Were made up of UX designers, UI designers, Content Designers and Researchers, who are all focused on creating the best digital experiences for our customers. Alongside project work, we give our designers time to help build the experience design team and shape our process within the wider digital team. Were led by data and try to show how designing delightful experiences has real business impact. Youll want to advocate your craft both internally and externally and contribute to the wider design community. Some days you might be working on a mental health campaign, others you may be helping craft an onboarding journey for one of our digital products. Youll also be a key contributor to the teams core projects, like our design systems and our design academy. Who were looking for

  • Turn complex concepts and journeys into clear and concise copy considering tone, clarity, and flow along the way.
  • Write compelling copy that helps a user solve problems and use our products.
  • Understand the art of writing good micro copy (Brevity, context, action and authenticity)
  • Develop a deep understanding of the user and the project and understand the users pain points and behaviours to create engaging experiences.
  • You will understand the product from the wireframe/prototype stage to boost the usability and functionality of the product.
  • Be data driven and understand metrics relating to product usage such as; daily active usage, stickiness, efficiency, ease of use, goal completions and user satisfaction.
  • Follow digital brand guidelines and copywriter style guides.
  • Take ownership of the copy for all areas of the business across projects, campaigns and briefs from inception through to delivery and beyond.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and have the ability and confidence to present your work explaining decisions and thought processes in the interest and support of clear copy.
  • Find solutions and compromises where stakeholders have disparate ideas about the copy on a project or product.
  • Work with UX and UI designers to develop personas based on customer insights.
  • Develop and apply a working understanding of key regulatory, legal and compliance issues to deliver copy that is right first time.
  • Actively participate in user testing and research to make sure the experience is meeting real audience needs.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Experience Design team to revise and refresh digital brand guidelines, ensuring all digital content positively contributes to our brand and ambition.
  • Experience in writing web copy.
  • A solid understanding of design principles, web usability and SEO.
  • The ability to manage your time efficiently and deliver copy within project timescales.
  • Experience writing copy in a regulated field would be considered an advantage.
  • Be able to contribute to our design system and the copy components within it.
