Job Description

This is an exciting temporary role based in Manchester working within the Health Services. The role will be on a 6 months fixed term contract, with the view to start ASAP. You will be dealing with both new and repeat self-pay and business customers, sellingand assisting them in booking clinics related products. Training will be fully in house for 2 weeks, then depending on how confident you feel the role can become hybrid with 2 days in office and the remaining days working from home.Responsibilities

  • Taking incoming customer calls in a professional and confident manner.
  • Taking the necessary action required to resolve customer queries.
  • Making proactive outbound calls to customers.
  • You will be responding to web chats and emails to help resolve queries.
  • Taking ownership of queries until resolved.
  • Action changes to client records ensuring all systems are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Data entry work and general office administration tasks.
  • Undertaking training as required.
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required
  • You will have experience of working in a customer service/sales environment and demonstrating strong customer focused skills and an ability to up sell added products.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence.
  • You will be PC literate with good knowledge of Windows based packages and have the ability to combine communication and admin skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to deal effectively with internal and external customers of all levels, taking a firm yet diplomatic approach if necessary.
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a tight, high achieving sales team and to be responsible for both individual and team targets.
  • Be able to remain positive and calm whilst projecting a can do attitude within the team/department.
