Job Description

We are looking to add technical talent and experience in delivering construction projects to our team. The suitable candidate will take over these projects and lead them from planning to delivery stage, working with contractors, engineers and other consultants.Our projects include:

  • Large scale remediation
  • Level raise and build platform development
  • Building a new river channel
  • Groundworks and site preparation
  • Infrastructure for residential development
  • Construction of new homes
This is not a project management role. We are looking for someone who wants to get stuck into the technical details of each project and add value along the way. You will have the chance to lead the strategic design, manage the development of the detaileddesign, develop the tender and manage the execution of the construction for land development projects. New homes are constructed as design & build contracts where you will have a technical advisory and supervision role.Candidate Profile
  • Experience managing land regeneration and/or residential new build projects
  • Ability to concurrently manage and coordinate multiple projects and programmes
  • Several years site-based construction experience, monitoring health & safety, quality, managing contractors etc.
  • Experience creating budgets/programs and monitoring across projects
  • Skilled problem solver and positive attitude
  • Extensive knowledge of general contracting processes, rules and procedures
  • Ability to build trust, relationships and manage expectations
  • Health & safety trained - qualifications of added value
  • Professional construction and/or engineering qualifications preferred
  • Full UK Driving licence essential
