Compliance Manager - IAR£25,000 - £35,000AltrinchamMac-book Laptop, Unlimited Holidays, Casual dress daily, flexible hoursBusiness Overview:My client is a company that allows customers to buy products/services today without worrying about the cost.Job Description for the Compliance Manager - IAR Role:Responsible for conducting Health Checks’ in relation to my clients IARs and assessing whether they are complying with regulatory requirements and acting in accordance with the agreed Contractual Terms and Conditions.Responsibilities for the Compliance Manager - IAR Role:

  • Design and maintain an annual IAR Monitoring Plan.
  • Design and maintain an IAR Monitoring Methodology.
  • Review IAR’s activity (e.g. marketing) to a high standard and prepare detailed reports of findings and present appropriate remedial action necessary to comply with FCA rules and Treating Customers Fairly Outcomes.
  • Deliver IAR Health Checks to a high standard and to agreed timescales.
  • Ensure completeness of evidence gathered and record keeping associated from testing, on which findings and conclusions are clearly based.
  • Articulate findings to key stakeholders.
  • Performing follow-up Health Checks and ensuring effective closure of any remedial action that was to be taken.
  • Produce Management Information (MI) and attending monthly Departmental Meetings.
  • Respond to regulatory enquiries from IARs.
  • To report to Line Manager any serious issues affecting my client
  • To report any compliance breaches to the Head of Compliance.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the business and keeping up to date with the evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Nurturing strong relationships internally up to Executive level and communicating potential risks in a professional, timely manner; and
  • Adhere to all Group Policies and Procedures.#
  • Person Specification for the Compliance Manager - IAR Role:
  • Knowledge and exposure of IARs.
  • FCA regulatory knowledge, especially the FCA Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC), but other FCA backgrounds will be transferable e.g. insurance.
  • Experience within Quality Assurance, Compliance Monitoring or similar role.
  • Requirements for the Compliance Manager - IAR Role:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a positive attitude.
  • Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-management planning and organisation.
  • A driven and dynamic individual who constantly evaluates their own performance.
  • Able to work methodically and under own initiative to complete Health Checks.
  • An individual who has impeccable attention to detail.
  • Internal and external customer focused.
