Job Description

Job Title: Competence LeadSalary: CompetitiveLocation: Your working location may be temporarily different due to Covid-19. Once applicable, your normal working location will be home-based. Flexible on location, but within a commutable distance from Manchester.The Opportunity:Reporting to Head of Technical for ISOQAR, the Competence Lead will be responsible for ensuring an effective, compliant competence process, ensuring that all business and UKAS requirements are adhered to worldwide. You will have accountability for maintaining and updating competence and training records for decision makers, Auditors, Subcontractors and Technical Experts both in the UK and globally.The Business:Our ISOQAR product line offers UKAS certification to ISO standards and British standards. With a 95% client retention rate and 25 years of experience, our global profile enables our clients to minimise risk, deliver change, drive improvement and win more business.The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a competence or compliance role, who has had accountability for ensuring that a business has the right technical knowledge to perform their service. You should have experience of stakeholder management across the business, as well as externally. You will be assigned the task of developing and improving the existing competence requirements and evaluation processes and all its associated documented information and so attention to detail and the ability to multitask is essential. Ideally, you will have an awareness of management systems auditing experience (e.g. ISO 9001 etc) and experience of either internal or external auditing.The Bits Our People Love:
