We’re looking for a Care Co-ordinator to join Reed in our friendly and welcoming Community Care team in Manchester! The main role will be Monday - Friday, however, you will be required to be on call (weekend and evenings) which is in weekly rotation with 3 other co-members, to support to the out of hours service provision in place - being a point of contact and signposting.The key purpose of a care coordinator is to support the growing community care team, managing the workforce and allocating and managing the rota to ensure our clients receive the highest quality of care and support as defined in their careplans. The role also encompasses supporting the service delivery, selection and recruitment process of applicants and general responsive needs of the service.We are a CQC registered service providing outreach and support to young people and vulnerable adults within the local community. You’ll be supporting a hugely successful and busy recruitment team, where you will be providing support across care packagesby managing the care rota, ensuring shifts are covered and communicated to care workers and families.You will also support our registered manager with candidate management, compliance, resourcing candidates to maintain and build income, managing compliance to ensure our service delivery is always safe and maintaining focus on the client and service deliveryof the highest standard.You will need a knowledge of the Care sector, ideally have experience completing support plans and individual risk assessments, be an excellent communicator, strong relationship builder and passionate to deliver quality outcome based, individual supportpackages. An understanding of compliance within the care sector and CQC requirements will be an advantage.Our service is centred around an ethical approach to recruitment and a dedication to attracting and supporting our clients with fantastic candidates.The people we support are at the heart of what we do, and our service delivery is tailored to the person/’s we are providing support to.
