Job Description

Arup are an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. Arup are currently looking for a Communications Consultant. This is an exciting time to join Arup as we invest in our rapidly growing stakeholder engagement and communications service offer. We work closely with clients to understand the communications and engagement challenges and provide creative, robust solutions to support the delivery of complex projects across the built environment.Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) is the worlds leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. We deliver award-winning solutions to over 65 outsourcing clients and consulting services to hundreds more. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources. We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Communications Consultant for a 3-6 month contract based in Manchester (currently remote) but candidates must be based in the North West.Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail;
  • Previous experience of working on Change and transformation projects;
  • Ability to write content for multiple channels tailored to meet the needs of different audiences;
  • Ability to organise and manage own time and commitments when working across multiple projects and for a range of clients;
  • The ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to solve complex issues;
  • Good knowledge and keen interest in digital communications and engagement tools;
  • An enthusiasm in helping to shape the built environment and sustainable design;
  • Must be based in the North West
    • Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Ideal candidate will have or have held security clearance.
