Via working closely with their partner brokers and offering first-rate service they are experiencing ongoing expansion, subsequently boasting international presence and an unrivalled reputation.I am working on their behalf to recruit an ambitious insurance professional to join their team, responsible for taking referrals from brokers using their online trading platform. Working with intermediaries throughout the UK your primary focus will be underwritingboth new and renewal business with premiums in the SME to mid-market space. Typical enquiries that sit outside of the platform can be complex or unusual and can range from £250- £100,000 in premium. This is a key appointment within the digital operation, andyou will be responsible for dealing with more complex referrals and escalations, managing both open market and facilities risks whilst building robust relationships with a diverse broker panel.Ideally you will possess underwriting experience, sound commercial acumen and a solution led approach. Essentially you must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to complement your technical insurance knowledge.
