Job Description

Commercial Pricing Business Partner | Central Manchester | ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified | £50,000-£60,000Job Overview:Axon Moore are delighted to once again be working alongside an outstanding organisation based in Manchester who have recently received Private Equity backing and is continuing the development of their team with a newly created role.Working in the Strategic division, this role will play an integral role in the ongoing commercial assessment of business activities, providing advice around pricing, commercial viability and business partnering to support finance and none finance professionals.With recent PE involvement, this role will be highly visible within the business, with significant headroom for growth and the opportunity to shape this role how you see fit. Therefore, it is essential for individuals to have an excellent communication skillset,coupled with a strong understanding of financial analytics.The role is based in Central Manchester, with the expectation to be in the office once a week. If you are a Qualified Accountant, with a background in commercial finance and a desire to hold a role that provides ample opportunity to grow your commercial experienceplease apply.Salary: £50,000-£60,000Location: Central Manchester with hybrid workingMain Duties:

  • Deliver financial support to a variety of key stakeholders via direct involvement in client bids and tenders and other investment proposals.
  • Work alongside divisional management to ensure a continued focus on margin improvement and profitable growth.
  • Conduct proactive client assessment to ensure commercial viability, partnering with client relationship partners and SMT.
  • Regular assessment and monitoring of client financial performance with a view to improve profitability.
  • Provide a framework for senior leaders to understand profitability of key business areas.
  • Drive financial efficiency, supporting the Senior Pricing Manager to allocate resource effectively.
  • Ensure tight control over pricing agreements, and increased visibility of governance around pricing.
Person Specification:
  • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified.
  • Relevant experience of commercial analytics.
  • Able to support the business function and senior management team.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of disseminating financial information to both finance, and none finance individuals.
  • Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skill set.
