Job Description

Commercial Finance Manager / North Manchester / Salary £65,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits - Hybrid Working - Bonus / Permanent Role or Interim / Excellent OrganisationNC Associates are working with a market leading PLC who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to assist the Group FD. As a Commercial Finance Manager you will be Provide commercial support to the Group FC and Finance Director to maximise salesprofitably across the businessDuties

  • Deliver commercial, trading and financial insight into opportunities to further accelerate profitable growth.
  • Use real-time metrics and analysis to drive decision making, ensuring business fascias and functional departments work together to maximise the potential of the business
  • Embed a test and learn approach to any major investment decision.
  • Act as Finance lead on Trading related projects ensuring they have a clear business case, detailing the expected return on investment, and ensuring financial returns are tracked.
  • Build effective relationships with Financial Controller and the wider Finance team to support the creation of a World Class finance function.
  • Develop close links with the core trading and operational teams across the group to drive sales effectively and embed a fast paced, reactive culture.
Essential Experience RequiredTo be successful in your application for this role youMUSThave the following experience
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant
  • Commercial Finance / Business Partner experience essential.
  • The ability to drive actionable insight from a myriad of data sources including market data, customer data, and sales transaction data.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills, with a track record of developing positive working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • Positive, flexible, enthusiastic and driven.
  • Advanced Excel skills, SQL experience not essential but an advantage
  • It is essential experience has been gained in a face paced, high growth, consumer facing business
