Job Description

Commercial Finance AnalystManchester City Centre (Flexible Hybrid Working)£35,000 - £40,000Axon Moore have a fantastic opportunity available for a part qualified accountant or QBE commercial analyst looking for their next challenge. This is new role that has recently been created due to business growth. The successful candidate will be passionate about analysis, with a high attention to detail and the ability to think outside of the box. You will enjoy working within a fast-paced, changing environment, and being involved in projects that have a real business impact. This is a unique opportunity to join an established finance function, with a blank canvas to really drive business change throughanalytics.Responsibilities

  • Leverage Service Delivery metrics to ensure the capacity forecasting plan is in line with the business needs alongside any future backlog.
  • Build trusted relationships with your business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions driving business improvements and cost reductions
  • Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
  • Understand the details of the cost structure to make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure.
  • Own the Financial and Operational planning processes to produce a solid operational plan
  • Become the expert in understanding the various sources of data and standardised reports that support the business and ensure consistency of approach to seek the "single version of the truth" in regard to reporting standards.
  • Create ad-hoc reporting and dashboards for internal stakeholders using various metrics.
  • Pro-actively and effectively communicate with stakeholders across the business, discussing the root cause of trends, assessing their impact and proposing solutions/optimisations.
  • Generate and communicate insights and recommendations.
