Job Description

Job Title: Collections Agent (Parking Fines)Location: Denton, ManchesterSalary: £20,500 per annum (Realistic earning potential: £28,000 - £45,000 per year)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout Us:We are recruiting for a leading provider of parking fine management solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Collections Agent to join our team in Denton, Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficientcollection of low-value parking fines while providing exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting individuals to collect outstanding low-value parking fines in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Utilising negotiation skills to secure payments and arrange suitable payment plans for debtors.
  • Conducting detailed financial assessments to determine the most appropriate repayment options.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with debtors.
  • Collaborating with team members and management to meet individual and team targets.
  • Adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies during the collections process.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in credit management or debt collection is essential.
  • Alternatively, experience in negotiation or working towards targets in a financial sector will be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to debt collection (training will be provided).
  • High level of resilience and determination to achieve targets.
Working Hours:Monday to Friday, with optional overtime on Saturdays.Benefits:
