CNC Vertical Borer Atherton Monday to Thursday 3:00pm 12:00am £23.82ph / £44,591.04pa The Company The company manufactures medium to heavy engineered components for the Mining, Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries, and specialises in large capacityCNC machining of components up to 13m in length and 35 Tons in weight. The Position The successful candidate must be apprentice trained /fully skilled and be able to program, set and operate medium to large capacity CNC lathes/Vertical borers (over 2.5 metreswing and components up to 10 tones) using Fanuc Controls. Must be able to write new programs from technical drawings and edit existing programs. Experience of canned cycles on Fanuc control is essential. Should have knowledge of modern tooling and methodsand be able to work with minimum supervision. Experience of Centre Lathe Turning (DSG machines) including screw cutting, taper turning and using 4 jaw chucks and copy turning attachments will also be an advantage to the successful applicant.
