Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer with experience in programming Fanuc controls to join a growing business in the Openshaw area of Manchester. Along with a salary of £28,000 per annum (including shift allowance), you willalso receive free parking, a contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a monthly incentive scheme.As a CNC Miller/Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working from detailed engineering drawings to machine either one-off`s or small batch.
  • Programming and setting 3 or 4 Axis Vertical machining centres (Fanuc).
  • Quality checking your own work.
  • Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
We are looking for a CNC Miller/Programmer with:
  • Previous programming and setting experience using Fanuc controls (Heidenhain an advantage).
  • To be a time served or hold an equivalent recognised qualification and have extensive operational machining experience, working with one-off`s or small batch.
  • Good communication, organisational skills alongside attention to detail.
  • Availability to work a weekly rotating 2 shift pattern Monday to Friday (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm).
