Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support ODEONs IT strategy to migrate to the cloud, ensuring the Group wide Cloud Platforms are available, performant, managed, recoverable and developed.Role can be remote but must be in commutable distance to either our Manchester or London office.Key Accountabilities:

  • Support, maintain, administer & develop the Group wide cloud platforms (eg Azure, M365, OKTA, Workplace) including the provision of 2nd and 3rd line support and support for out of hours critical incidents
  • Adhere to Incident, Service Request, Major Incident, Problem and Change Management procedures.
  • Mange the configuration and policies of the Group wide cloud platforms working with regional IT teams
  • Perform regular IT Service Continuity tests of the Group wide cloud platforms
  • Assist in the management and performance of Cloud Managed Service providers
  • Develop plans, technical specifications, low level designs, roll-out/test plans and successful transition to service for relevant projects and programmes
  • Perform regular reviews of the Cloud platforms to ensure compliance with standards, performance is optimised, assets are tracked and costs are managed
  • Manage the provisioning of cloud resources and services
Key Skills:
  • 5+ years relevant experience, a technology based degree or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications (VCP 6.5, MSCE, MCSA or similar)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (written, oral & presentation) using colleague-friendly language
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to rapidly identify and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and well organised; able to handle multiple tasks with clear sense of ownership and priority
  • Knowledge / experience of cloud platforms:
  • Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (inc AAD, EndPoint Manager, InTune, MDM & MAM, Defender)
  • Virtual Machines, VMWare, Windows Server
  • OKTA or other Identity Access Management providers
  • Good understanding of networks protocols, Next Gen Firewalls, UTM & Proxies
  • Proven planning and organising skills being able to manage, prioritise and coordinate effectively
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work, working outside of core office hours as required
  • Enthusiastic and energetic. A self starter able to create and maintain effective level of output & support
