Job Description

Clothing Product Developer £25-30,000 plus benefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful international business as a Clothing Product Developer. The Clothing Product Developer role sits within the Exclusive Brand Development team, where you will be responsible for striving to deliver the very best exclusive brand products whilst at the same time representing amazing value for the customer.The company is expanding rapidly as a result of its success to date and if you would like the opportunity to bring your product development skills to a place where you can make your mark and develop your career then this could be the right opportunity for you.The role as a Clothing Product Developer…

  • Work closely with the Senior Developer and Junior developer to ensure each clothing range is commercial, to brand positioning and developed on time.
  • Manage day to day incoming/outgoing sampling where required.
  • Work across the design and development team, ensuring fabrics and trims are correctly developed across each brand.
  • Maintaining style details/info on PLM system.
  • Assist in the creation of tech packs, working closely with the designers.
  • Ensure that costings on the PLM system are accurate and up to date.
  • Feedback comments on protos to suppliers each season
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure that clothing is developed on time
  • Attend fit sessions and add fit comments to tech packs/feedback to suppliers.
  • Assisting with sample measuring and comments as directed.
  • Maintaining critical path, chasing relevant info from suppliers and reporting issues.
  • Monitor the progress of test reports, liaise with suppliers and report issues.
  • Monitor the progress of care-label submissions and approvals.
  • Assist with the approval of Lab dips and submissions.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of size charts.
  • Manage barcode requests and approvals.
  • Complete all admin prep as directed for any monthly/seasonal meetings.
  • Manage samples for photo shoots and wearer trail purposes.
  • About you…
  • The successful candidate will have previous development experience within clothing and/or accessories.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • You’ll be self-motivated with strong communication and organisational skills.
