We support over 300 principal investigators, who undertake research across a diverse range of clinical areas, spread across seven hospitals and community services, to deliver improved diagnostics, treatments and devices for patients in Manchester and beyond.MFT has a large research portfolio, with excellent facilities and internationally renowned researchers; we have a global reputation for conducting and delivering pioneering research.What we’re looking for We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is capable of contributing to the development of research within our Adult Hematology Oncology ResearchYou’ll be joining the Adult Hematology Oncology Research team, a diverse teams of experts at MFT who provide high quality care and support all patients taking part in research.You must possess a keen interest in research, have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a multi-disciplinary team.You will be involved in ensuring that research undertaken at MFT safeguards the well-being of patients and is undertaken within ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines. You will take a proactive approach in supporting clinical research studies including gaining consent, providing the highest quality patient centred care and collecting and processing biological samples.Prior clinical research experience is not essential, but advantageous. Ideally you will have some experience of the NHS working within a clinical environment. Comprehensive training and an induction programme will be provided for successful candidates. We will also ensure that you have tailored, individual personal development plans with support for further training.
