Clinical Psychologist Full-timeSalary negotiable28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)Equilibrium Healthcare is looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our successful team.Based in Didsbury, South Manchester Jigsaw Hospital is a 34 bed community-based independent hospital that provides an in-patient rehabilitation focused service for adults with complex mental health needs, including a specialist female personality disorder service. The hospital provides 29 single en-suite bedrooms and a 5 bed move-on unit, allowing us to provide a patient centred pathway of care which supports individuals towards more independent living.Within the last 12 months, the hospital has undergone an extensive refurbishment programme to ensure our facilities are unmatched. In January 2021, the service will be opening its Wellness Centre including a coffee shop, high tech gym and its ground-breaking virtual consultation room. Combining outcome focused, personalised care with technological innovation and creativity, the service aims to become a national leader in this arena, providing the best possible care and support to our patients, and are building our team to achieve this goal.The successful applicant will work as part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team being responsible for the provision of psychological assessment, formulations and interventions (group and individual). They will attend weekly ward rounds engaging with members of the MDT, and support the staff team through clinical advice, facilitation of reflective practice and provision of supervision and teaching opportunities.The ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible, have previous experience of working with female personality disorder and eating disorder and have a genuine interest in working in a forward-thinking setting with this client group.This is an opportunity for a psychologist seeking a role in which they are a key team member within the hospital, and through the referral and admission review process, helping to shape future service provision.What we can offer:
