Job Description

Claims AdvisorSalary: £20,000- £24,000 plus commission & benefits (OTE of up to £35,000 per annum)Location: Manchester, UK (remote working currently until the New Year)Our client is a regulated Claims Management Company based in the thriving city centre of Manchester. Specialising in processing a variety of financial mis-selling claims within the pensions & investments space, our client is at the forefront of this fast-paced and busy industry.Due to exciting and extensive growth, they are now looking for a Claims Advisor to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team to assist in the growth and development of their products and operation.With exciting and extensive growth plans over the next 12 months, this is a role that could really allow you to develop with the business for the long term. Role overviewYou will become part of a developing team in an exciting growth area of the business for Mis-Sold Pension & investment claims. This busy & fast-paced department deals with the entire customer journey, from the first contact on pack return, to offer received. You will be tasked with managing and growing your own customer base, dealing with incoming post, and contacting clients, IFA’s, FSCS and FOS to ensure the swift and successful outcome of your claims.We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to maintaining a positive and vibrant environment as well as an active team plater! Duties

  • Convert leads into successful and valid claims.
  • Follow up on converted leads to ensure documents are completed and returned accurately.
  • Manage time and effectively prioritise workload.
  • Build rapport and develop customer relationships.
  • Show ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and work as a team player to integrate cross-selling with other departments.
  • Exceed KPI targets and display a flexible approach to surpass expectation.
  • Maximise revenue and sales for the business.
  • About You
  • Previous experience in pension and/or investment claims is essential in this role
  • Experience in managing workload and working to targets
  • Adaptable, professional and efficient
  • Positive, ambitious and motivated
  • Ability to manage a workload effectively and efficiently
  • Effective at overcoming objections
  • Team Player whilst able to work to own initiative when required
  • Good work ethic
  • Excellent telephone manner
