Job Description

Job Description Location: Manchester City Centre - HybridSalary: up to £50,000 plus excellent benefitsConsultants: Charlotte Hilton & Karen ReynoldsThis is a fabulous client to work for - global presence, household name, passionate about the business, highly supportive of staff.Following internal promotion we are looking to recruit a capable, driven, and professional candidate to lead a key team in conjunction with the Senior Finance Manager.What you will be doing:

  • Leading the Cash & Bank / Credit Control work stream
  • Supervising / coaching / developing staff
  • Managing daily cashflow forecasting including updates for active cash management
  • Investigation and analysis of data and identifying issues and risks
  • Fortnightly active cash management submissions
  • Operational cash processes with various team leaders
  • Managing Supplier relationships
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit card transactions including new payment methods
  • Management and escalation of any discrepancies
  • Managing statutory payments
  • HR/Payroll support
  • Month End procedures
What you need to bring:
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team within a fast paced ever changing environment
  • Cash and banking experience in a multi-site retail environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
  • Experience of working with revenue and cash processes
  • The ability to analyse, process and present numerical information clearly and accurately
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
