Reporting directly to the Cashier Manager, the individual is part of a team responsible for administering a case load of mainly Liquidations. The individual will have responsibility of providing the cashiering function alongside a second cashier.Client DetailsMy client is an exciting and ambitious Accountancy firm based in Manchester whore currently going through a period of growth.Description* Manage daily bank movements* Bank reconciliations in line with office practice* Process journal, income and expenditure vouchers* Data entry onto IPS* Process bank transfers* Prepare billing packs* Correspond with HMRC regarding corporation tax and VAT* Complete VAT returns* Request opening and closing of insolvency bank accounts* Reconcile debtor schedule monthly* Liaise with corporate recovery team.Profile* Previous bookkeeping experience (essential)* Good knowledge of insolvency processes (preferred)* Previous experience using IPS (preferred)* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word and excelJob OfferThe successful candidate will receive a salary up to £29k with excellent company benefits including bonus scheme, hybrid working, birthday day off and much more.
