Job title: Cargo Handler - Warehouse Operations based at Manchester Airport Freight TerminalReports to: Duty ManagerMain accountabilities include: - Load and offload freight either manually or mechanically in- Accordance with respective handling procedures.- Place and retrieve freight in and from appropriate storage areas, accurately recording the storage location as necessary.- Carry out bond checks and housekeeping duties as per customer requirements.- Ensure that items of Company or Customer property and equipment are properly maintained and protected. Immediately report any damage, fault or irregularity to your line manager- Fully comply with the Company Health & Safety policy.- Fully comply with the Company Security Regulations.- Fully comply with Company handling procedures.- Implement and adhere to policies and procedures as directed in the Company Handbook.Any other reasonable duties.Qualifications and Experience:- Good people skills- Possess good communication skills- Ability to perform within a pressurised environment- Be available to work flexible hours at short notice- Work on own initiative- Fork Lift Licence essential- Completion of Aviation Security Certificate Level CO. Training will be provided.Salary: £20,465.39 paShift Pay: £3,000 paAttendance Allowance: £1,947.60 pa This role works on a shift rotation: A Shift - Mon to Fri 0800-1600B Shift - Mon to Fri 1200-2000C Shift - Mon to Thur 1400-2200 / Fri 1500-2300
