Part-Time, Weekend OnlyDue to continued business growth in Manchester, Medacs Healthcare are expanding their teams and have a number of opportunities available with immediate start dates.AS THIS IS A COMMUNITY BASED ROLE, YOU MUST HOLD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE AND HAVE UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO A VEHICLE.Medacs Healthcare are recruiting for both experienced and inexperienced Care Workers to join our ever expanding teams of caring, professional care workers, supporting the elderly in their own homes.If you are caring, compassionate, have a genuine desire to help others, are understanding and empathetic and have an understanding of the needs of the elderly, this could be the perfect job for you.We have vacancies in the following areas:- ANCOATS, GORTON, GORTON NORTH, SOUTH LEVENSHULME, CLAYTON, BESWICK AND OPENSHAW.Duties would include (but not be limited to):-Personal Care - assisting both male and female clients with dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, showering, toileting, hair care, dental hygiene etc.Medication support - either by verbally prompting our clients or providing physical support (opening bottles, applying creams and drops).Food Preparation - providing light meals, drinks and snacks to our clients.Documentation - a clear, accurate record of every care visit must be entered in the Service Users file, therefore, excellent command of the English language is required, spoken, written and reading.In return, Medacs Healthcare offer very competitive rates of pay - £9.50 per hour plus 20p per mile mileage allowance.Shift patterns are 07.00 to 13.30 and 15.30 to 22.00 - you can work either shift pattern or a mixture of both.If you are interested in any of the above vacancies, please contact The Recruitment Team today to arrange an immediate interview.
