Job Description

Our client a successful Interior Design Practice, are seeking a CAD Technician to join their talented team. The successful CAD Technician will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting schemes. Our client specialises within the hospitality sector,covering hotels, restaurant, bars as well as some high-end residential schemes.The successful CAD Technician should have excellent AutoCAD knowledge as well as some experience within the Hospitality sector. Experience of at least 3 years+ is required for this role.CAD Technician Position Overview

  • Using AutoCAD on a daily basis
  • Working on a range of exciting hospitality projects, as well as some residential schemes
  • Producing Construction drawings and drawing packages
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as well as clients to meet their brief
  • Producing technical designs and detailed drawings
CAD Technician Position Requirements
  • Proficient using AutoCAD independently (essential)
  • Working knowledge of technical building design, detailing and building regulations
  • Previous experience working across a range of projects within the Residential sector
  • Familiar working with House builders on residential developments
  • Holds strong communication skills
  • Ideally able to commute to the office in Wakefield 5 days a week
  • Able to start as soon as possible
CAD Technician Position Remuneration
  • Competitive salary (£35,000 - £42,000) Potentially more for a candidate with a strong hospitality background
