Job Description

Position: C++ Linux Software EngineerSalary: £45,000 - £65,000Office Location: ManchesterLocation of work: This role can be performed fully remotely.The Role:Do you want to work with cutting edge technology Do you want a flexible, rewarding work environment with the chance to learn new skills whilst being rewarded with a strong salary and benefits packageIf the answer is yes to the above, then this is the role for you.Our client is now growing their technology team which is focused on the development of new, cutting edge autonomous vehicle platforms and software tools. These projects are truly unique and will set the industry standards moving forward. They are happy forpeople to take on this role on a remote basis and also happy to welcome people to one of their state-of-the-art offices if preferred.The successful Software Engineer will be joining a team design environment so strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with other engineers is crucial. You can expect to be involved in the full design life cycle of a host of new projectsand should be keen to see projects through to completion.Skills and Experience Required:

  • Modern C++ (11, 14 or 17 ideally)
  • Linux or Embedded Linux
  • Agile development environments
  • Build systems and compiler tool-chains.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • RTOS
  • Embedded systems
  • Kernel development
  • Python or Ruby scripting
  • AUTOSAR
