Job Description

BuyerManchesterUp to £40,000Monday - FridayGenerous holiday, benefits program, pensionI am working with an established industrial design and manufacturing sub-contracting client, operating in the UK and sites abroad.Main responsibilities:

  • Weekly meetings with finished product suppliers
  • Liaising with component suppliers
  • Handling budgeting
  • Reporting into procurement manager and working alongside senior buyer in the team
  • Ordering stock based on quotes from the demand team
  • Using the company ERP system for data such as price lists and lead times
  • Carring out projects from start to finish
To be considered for the position you will have experience in a buyer, procurement or purchasing position in an engineering or manufacturing environment.Benefits:
