Job Description

A Buyer position has become available within a business that supplies advanced technologies to some of the most exciting organisations across various industries and has done successfully for over 50 years. On-site they produce a broad and complex productrange, utilising modern-day manufacturing techniques. Supplying to key customers right across the globe, this client is working through a considerable period of growth and is offering a competitive starting salary, very flexible working hours, up to 45 daysannual leave, and personal development programs for the right professional. The management here is more focused on personal attitude rather than experience, so no matter the level please feel free to apply (salary adjusted accordingly).Buyer duties include -

  • Raise purchase orders (POs) for an array of suppliers, including treatments, machined items, ensuring efficient procurement processes are followed.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers by providing them with regular orderbook updates, engaging in forward planning discussions, and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on supply chain performance, tracking key metrics, and promptly reporting any issues or areas for improvement. Your insights will be crucial in maintaining efficiency and reliability.
