Job Description

Business travel consultantBTC Required to work for this global TMC based in their offices in manchester. They will pay up to £32,000 plus benefits. GDS experience is a must, and we are looking for those that can use Galileo ideally but will crosstrain if needed seeking someone fromeither a TMC, corporate travel company, tailormade or similar.Business travel consultant duties

  • Working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, shifts either 9am to 5.30pm or 9.30am to 6pm.
  • Booking uk, European and Worldwide travel arrangements using galileo working with the clients travel policy booking flights, car hire, rail and hotels
  • Ticketing, reissues
  • Providing up to date travel advise and visa information
  • Doing your own markups
Business travel consultant skills required
  • Experience using a GDS to book overseas trips
  • Galileo preffered but will consdier Amadeus or Sabre trained consultants too and crosstrain
  • Strong airfares knowledge
  • Groups experience is a bonus but not essential
