Job Description

We are currently working with Manchester City Council to recruit Business Support Officers.The Access & Sufficiency Service is looking for 10 BSOs to work across School Admissions and Statutory Assessment Teams to provide effective support and administration.These are full time positions of 35 hours per week, initially running until the end of April 2022.Location: Town Hall Extension, Albert Square, Manchester, M60 2LAPay Rate: £9.99Main Duties:

  • Logging applications on a system
  • Logging appeals on a system
  • Administrative tasks including postage, scanning, printing
  • Responding to emails and phone calls on School Admissions and Statutory Assessment queries (training will be provided)
  • Update and extract information from management information systems accurately and competently as required including the retrieval and collation of reports to agreed procedure.
  • Deal efficiently and courteously, with tact and diplomacy, to all queries and correspondence, both written and verbal from a wide range of internal and external customers.
